Tara Received a call on a Sa****ay about 12pm. They did not leave any messages. When I called the number back it rang twice and an automated ma****e stating they are a fundraiser of some sort. I only bothered because I NEVER answer unknown calls and was waiting for someone to call.

They called asking for the full name of the person who had my number before me TEN YEARS ago.

Mr. Read This is a "S****ed Number" which has not been allocated to any phone company. The s****er is claiming to do business by many names: Interval International; Timeshare Hotlist, and Voice Nation, but is actually is a business listed as CENTURY 22 MARKETING at 7680 Universal Blvd #565, Orlando FL 32819-8970 and their actual call back number is: 407-218-7297. What they do is try to list you as a TimeShare Account Holder desiring to sell your account for an upfront fee, regardless if the sale goes through or not. They will also pose as a Collection Agency to entice you to release further information on yourself to them as you try to convince them to validate the purported debt. THINK! If you really had a bad debt, they would already have all the information they need to secure a judgement in a court of law. They are just phishing. They have only one purpose and that is to separate you from your personal property (including money). When they call a***n, have this information handy by your phone AND list the phone number within your cordless/cellphone phone directory with the name : CENTURY 22 MARKETING so that you have a chance to respond professionally to that phony caller. By being professional yourself, you act as if you are in control of the phone call. When they ask for you by your actual name, DO NOT SAY YES or NO - you should respond by saying: "I know who YOU are and where you are actually calling from. I have you on my computer and I have already activated YOUR Monitor Display to see right back at you. That means I have your IP Address, now please sit up straight so I can get a good look at you. Just for your own information, ****ing up the phone on your end doesn't cut you off from me. I will see everything on your computer monitor that you see along with every key****** you make. I will terminate the connection whenever I chose to do so and right now, I have plenty of time to track your movements to get into your personal life. Please try not to be surprised when I finally approach you on the street or in your vehicle to introduce myself." After that, just put your phone down without ****ing up. This way, you can concentrate on what you are doing on YOUR computer and you can care less what the caller is doing.

Melody I just received a call from this number!  It was a guy with a strong indian accent, he stated that he was calling from the crimes unit.  what a loser!  I experienced this before from another number and it was a scam!!!

sp I have received several calls a month for at least 2 years from Accatel (caller ID).  They claim they are a pharmaseutical company  looking for a person by the name of David.  When I tell them there is no oone by this name they **** up. I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling, take me off their phone list.  When I call the number back a foreigner answers, does not identify themselves as a pharmacy company.  I have asked to speak with the owner, manager,etc.but conveniently they are never available to take my call.  My recent phone call was 5/15/10.  I called back to verify this numerber and asked if this was a pharmacy company they said yes and offered me sleeping pills and more.   I asked if I need a doctor's prescription and they said no they will take care of getting anything I wanted no questions asked.  I too am sick and tired of getting this obvious scam calls.  I am sure that this call is coming from Florida.  I am a little su****ioius and will be reporting this to the police.

shrop Caller ID said ACCATEL.  When I answered I was asked which credit card I would like to lower the interest rate on.  My reply was that you called me.  They then listed all my credit cards.  I asked how they got my info and why they were calling.  They then ***g up on me.

Kristen They have called me several times yes****ay and then this morning with the same message but the phone call today sounded like the Indian man was on a cellphone.  This happened about a month ago with the same man but different name and phone number threatening to have the police come to my office and place of employment and arrest me if I didn't pay $2500.00 including court fees.  I contacted the BBB and the group that they were saying they were with and the company had no listing of me or that I had ever taken out a payday loan.  This is a scam, do not pay them.  They used the phone number of 321-251-1921 for call back but the number shown on my phone is 052797833.

Kristen I also received a call today from an Indian man named Peter advising me that if he does not hear from my attorney that good luck.  This happened about a month ago and sounds like the same guy just different phone number threatening to have people come to my place of employment or home and take me to jail for an outstanding payday loan.  I was scared at first but then read online with that phone number and learned that it was fraudelent information b/c there would not be 10-12 people that owe the exact amount to the same payday loan company and get calls all within 2-3 days.

Anonymous I just received the same phone call and I spoke with someone named Alex he cussed at me and said that I had a lawsuit for a payday loan online. He also said that He would send someone to my house tomorrow at 10 am in the morning. Who are these people. He claimed his attorney was David Grey...

Deborah I have been receiving calls with directions to call "the second I receive this call" two different numbers.  The numbers are: 321-251-1921 & 813-319-2654.  They are from the same person, Steve, and he goes on to say that if I or my "retained attorney" don't get in touch with him immediatly, he can "only wish me good luck as this thing unfolds".  About 3 months ago, I received the same type of calls from someone with California area codes, a***n several numbers.  The man that time also had an Indian accent and threatened me with "sending officers and policemen to my place of work".  I blocked those numbers and intend to block these too.  The problem is, they are calling my friends and my employer.  WHAT TO DO?

Kevin Got the same calls. They claim to be some sort of online payday loan place and are trying to collect monies owed. They have even called family members with legal threats. Problem is, I have never gotten such a loan but they have all sorts of personal info. Would like to find out who it is and shut them down.

Candy The people who been calling me have an actcent they have been calling non stop dont let them scare you with all their information they get it from the internent because it free they sound professional but its a scam they want you to send them money dont you never hear from them a***n just dont answer anymore they will stop if anybody never paid back a loan the company will always get in contact with you and if you never got a loan dont worry its all a scam your personal information becomes public once you fill out anything online

Bev I am getting the same type of call.  I have called the police and made a report.  This is an obvious scam, they are threatening to have the police come to my home and place of employment.  They are also calling my freinds and family members with their threats.

Dale People have stopped calling me and are now harassing family and friends. Problem is, they are using fraudulent details into scaring them into believing they might have legal action pending.

Sweets Whether or not you're on the 'do not call list' does not matter, you should never answer these calls that come in as 'unknown' and that prompt you to press a number to continue.... These calls are best left IGNORED.... especially on Sundays!!! What are they thinking??

Michael Mantych Message stating I qualified for a lower rate. Didn't say what account just to press 1 to speak with a representative. I did and when the representative answered, he s****s telling me because of my excellent rating with Experian I qualified for their best rate. I responded by telling him I was on the do not call list when I was promptly interrupted and told good day followed by a click. Sales people. you gotta dislike them.

gina kept getting the calls from this number -finally answered and the same thing. I did press 9 and an Indian man was on the other end. He told me that I could lower my interest rates on my CC - and then proceeded to list the names of the cards I had. That is very scary to me. When I told him I have already contacted all my CC and was at the lowest rate they could give me, he kept insisting he could do better. He kept saying let me ask you a question - I tried to be polite until I got fed up and then told him to take me off the list and never call me a***n and then ***g up. I'm still a little upset about him knowing what cards I have and having my home phone #. mm i just got a call from this number, showed up on my caller ID as BLOCKED NAME..the automated message related they were calling because my credit card interest rate was about to be increased & to press 9 to speak to a representative to keep my low rate..I did press 9 & the call was disconnected.  I tried to call the number & I got a FAX ma****e.I too am on the Do Not Call List, I wanted to politely tell them that!

MD I received a call from them just a few minutes ago. They left no message, and all my caller ID had as the name calling was a bunch of numbers--V06221411390055.I can't say I've EVER heard of such a thing before, having neverending numbers listed as the "person" calling. It took up the whole screen!I'm about to report them, as I am on the DNC list, and on top of no message, there was no way to see WHO was actually calling.
