ADA calls everyday with no message.  I have answered the last 2 day's only to be ***g up on.  My mother in law has diabetes and I am sure it is a good cause.  I will not be giving money to this organization.

I'm also getting these calls every day, VERY early. Always from a different phone number, yet always caller ID says ADA. Because I'm on the Do Not Call list, I've just filed a complaint with the FTC: readers, PLEASE DO THIS ALSO; enough complaints and they take legal action! W***ver ADA is, they call me constantly and the numbers c****e all the time. Here are just a few:

his email is [email protected].  By the way he makes over $500,000 a year and has a travel budget for his wife (source: IRS 990 for 2008).  That's lots of donations over the dinner hour.  SHAME!

we get thid call EVERYDAY. SO****ING NEEDS TO BE DONE. We need an agency that will get involved and stop these calls. This call happens 2 or 3 times a day and when you answer no one speaks.

Caller ID identified the number as from "ADA" - caller apparently listened to the voicemail greeting ("please leave a message indicating the reason for your call") but did NOT leave a phone message. The number is now blocked; the caller will receive a busy signal - Thank you Panasonic (KX-TG6441).

We get these calls almost every day at anytime, from morning till around 9 p.m. There never is anybody there. We also are on the do not call list.

These people have driven me away from sending them any money. They flood you with mail and pester you to ***** with phone calls ,everyday they call and leave no message.They can stick'it.Ron in Nashville Tn.

Caller ID lists this number as ADA. This number has been showing up on my phone daily for the last three weeks. They NEVER leave a message. When I answer, the connection is broken. No one ever says anything. This has become extremely annoying. Who are these people???

These people are solicitors for the American Diabetes****ociation (ADA).  It's a worthy organization, but their callers are outright pests.I use the following line with all telephone solicitors: "I do not discuss contributions over the telephone.  If you want me to contribute, send me so****ing in the mai; and I will give it all of the consideration I think it deserves."  If they persist, repeat the first sentence and ask, "What part of that do you not understand?"  Telephone beggers (or salespeople) do not deserve any additional politeness.  They are using your facilities, property, and time for their own benefit.  Don't be shy about having some fun at their expense.  Be creative!

This will be the 3rd week of repeated calls with no voice on the other end. The last call went so far as to leave a message with only the last few words... "will be canceled". what are they Phishing for?

this number keeps calling my house 2- 3 times a day I do not know who they are .They are asking for the people who previously had this number.I have told them reapeadily I am not who they are looking for and do not call me back I pay for my number to be private

Caller ID shows "unknown caller" Answered once and spoke to a man saying he was from the ADA. I said "No thank you." The calls continue, even getting one today (Sunday).

Calls several times a day. This is Sunday and they have called twice. They call at least once a day, but usually more. How can I make them stop???????? The caller id says "ADA"

Numerous unwanted phone calls: Caller ID ADA Number 877-774-8230 Sometinse several times a day. I am on US Don't Call list but still get them. No voicemeail message. I refuse to answer or call back in those cases.

My late husband had diabetes and some complications, but I refuse to respond to telephone solicitation, especially when they also send out paper mailings.. I did call the number back one time and I got a person who told me they continue to call until someone picks up the phone...Charities are exempt from the do-not-call list, by the way...

I have told them to stop calling and they continue. Most of the time, when I answer, they do not respond and end up ****ing up. My next step is to go the the state Attorney General, I guess.

reference above complaint, the caller id is the ADA american diabetes****ociation. they refuse to leave messages hopeing that you will get tired of the calls and answer the phone. this is their policy when seeking money.very annoying and just wrong for them to treat possible donors this way.be decent and leave a message.

We do understand your need for funds as do all organizations.  You are ****arding us with phone calls as well as mailings. You don't even have the decency to leave a message. This does not set well with us.  If we had money to contribute every time you called or mailed us so****ing, we would send it but, during this difficult time, with the economy the way it is, we are very limited as to what we can give to anywone.    Our phone number is listed on the "Do Not Call" List and we are asking you to please respect this.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL 864-234-5367 a***n. When we do have funds to mail to you, we will be happy to do so.
