I too have been getting calls. so I contacted directv about it. what info I got was that when the contract is signed, there is mouse type that people agree to be contacted by directv for sales purposes. thats what tthe calls are. I emailed directv and requested to be removed from that list. it took a couple weeks, but the calls did stop.

I am on the no call list. The caller ID showed Directv. I did not answer, but they left no message.

Usually calls twice daily, once in the morning and once late afternoon or evening... Just because I subscribe to your service doesn't mean I approve of your telemarketing attempts to promote an upgrade of my service... I am on the national DO NOT CALL list.

Constant Unending calls to sell more services. We are already an incredibly unhappy customer. We had our system installed. It was done improperly by the initial installing team, it took 12 calls to get it mostly fixed, they charge to completely rebuild our DirectTV system, we had no HD during the time and now they want to give is more grief buy selling services that are fanciful if not totally vaporware. If you have Direct TV dump them!!!!

They call sometimes up to 3 to 4 times a day. Then they won't call us at all. They never leave a message. We just thought it was a medical bill collector, we have several small bills from hospitals. We have been trying to pay off bills but can't pay all at once!

Wow!  I literally tore the DirecTV Promotions Dept guy Mark a new one literally 30min ago.. as this was their THIRD call today.. including the call at 7:25AM that I explained I did NOT appreciate, only to have him smart off and say "We'll actually sir, were allowed to call after 7am", this set me off!  YES, they are trying to get you to sign up for additional Premium channels and Sports networks.  As "steelers58" pointed out to call the 800 number, I did that and within 5min, I'm now off their Phone, Mail and Email lists.  I also did not appreciate the mis-pronunciation of my last name, which sounds NOTHING like the letters in my last name.  I haven't decided if I'm cancelling yet... Dish Network is looking good to me!
