phone rings no one there it happens several times it is annoying i called back to ask them to remove our number it did nothing

Here is the web link to American Veteran Newspaper out of Miami-Dade Florida .  If you go to their "Contact Us" section under Donations you will see their number listed as (305) 867-6060.  They don't seem to answer that number, so I left a message requesting to get off their caller list...will see if anything happens.  FYI, when I answer the call I get a female voice stating "please wait, your call is being transferred", then a click and ****s up

Same thing.  It rings, I answer and there is complete silence. Then it reverts to a dial tone

This number has called our land line several times and when we pick up there is nothing, and then the end of call beep beep beep. I attempted to call back and there was a brief one word recording of a woman's voice, clicked off, and then end of call beeping.

Call came in while we were at work. Answer ma****e answered. A male voice said, "Jan?" Then just stayed on the line until the answer ma****e timed out.
