This is a phishing scam. Report these people immediately to your local district attorney and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). What they are doing is highly illegal and a violation of several state and federal laws. Since we can't ***** them, sending them to jail would be the next best thing. If they call and you speak with them, do NOT give them any personal information, but milk them for everything you can find out about them. Then report it immediately. These crooks move quickly and often. I've gotten calls from Seattle, New York, Detroit and now St. Louis.

I got a recorded phone call stating I was eligible to lower my credit card interest rate to 6.9% on my exsisting card and press one to speak with someone. Ok, Im game - a female came on the line and read a nice script on how I could lower my rate. I said which card? She said master card, visa, american express and blah blah and eligible on over 55 different companies. she mentioned no company she was with. Said Thanks and ***g up.

Robo call regarding reducing my interest rate. I do not pay any interest for anything! It is a violation of the Do Not Call list and as soon as I finish this comment I am filing another complaint with the FTC.

I am so fed up with this number calling my cell phone. I don't even have a credit card. I've done the DO Not Call list and update it every 6 month, doesn't help. I like Rex in 501's idea - I'm just going to s**** messing around with them. Nothing else works!

Just play along with them... I like to put on a "heavy accent" and give them bs made-up information. Totally waste of their time and save several others from getting those calls plus it amuses the heck out of me. :D

Just rec'd another call on my cell from "Account Services" with the same message this is your last chance to lower your interst rate on your credit card press the number 1 key. They are not from any of my credit card companies and never have. Have told them repeatedly ove rthe past year to stop calling yet they continue. Have filed complaints with Do Not Call Registry, which have been registered since 2007.

I don't answer numbers I'm that are not recognizable to me. I DELETE it immediately. I always wait to see who is calling. That way I can check the number out and decide what to do with it, etc. report it locally, add it to "Do Not Call" or to the FTC. If more of us would do this the SPAMMERS wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

This caller called my cell phone today 11/4/11. It was a recorded call but I listened to the end where it gave me the option to dial "1" to speak to a representative. They immediately said "are you ready to lower your interest rate?" and I told them I was on the do not call list. They ***g up fast!!! Caller ID said they're in Renton, WA.

do not call them back, I did and when I asked them to remove my number the guy "JIM" proceeded to use ****** language and when I say ****** if you can think it he said it. Best thing to do is file a complaint with FTC and your local Attorney General.

I just received a call from this number. It was a recorded message from "Account Services" telling me this was my last notice that I was eligible for 4.9% rate on my credit cards. When I pressed "1" as it requested I received a busy signal. This number is a sham.......

Called my cell, didn't answer, they didn't leave a message, added them to my android call guard list so they are blocked next time. Love call block.

Got a call. Did not leave message. Found out when I called it back that it was a company sponsoring "special promotions." If I want to end the calls I had to press "1", didn't ask for my number so will it register? Computer message stated it may take up to two hours for it to process. Folks, "Do not call lists" don't apply to cell phones, only land lines. So you have to tell your cell phone company that you want this type of number blocked. They will tell you how to do it.

I have received multiple calls from this number with an offer to reduce the rates on my card. As I currently have NO active credit cards, obviously this is a fraudulent call. When I ask what company they are calling from, they **** up.

They call my phone occasionally....some kind of credit card spam. I s****ed getting calls like this AFTER I put my number on the no-call list, go figure.

These are the lying telemarketers who try to make people think that it is their credit card company calling and if you try to get more info, cuss you out or insult you and **** up.

Download Call Control from the android market and black list these spammers... Blocks calls and txt from any number u enter. Works like a charm!

We just received the call. My husband played along with her questions up until she asked for the expiration date of ANY Visa or MC that we had that we owed over $5,000 on! SERIOUSLY? He asked well first, how do you know who I am? She said, "I'm sorry, what did you ask?" And he said it a***n and she ***g up! I have received numerous "final notices" about lowering the interest rate on all my credit cards. This is spam- pure and simple, and I'm tired of them using up my plan minutes. I want them to stop calling me! I am on the Do Not Call registry.
