Leave a CommentSubject: Xmas AngelWhen four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where. Then, when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards *****ed, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were ****tered.Frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a **** of****. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had ***** all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into ***dreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree. Not a lot of people know this.
THey have called 5 times tonight and never leave a message. I do not pick up because I do not recognize the number.
Receive 10 or more calls a day, no one answers. Will file FCC complaint and class action lawsuit if attorney deems viable.Margaret
Extremely annoying calls all day long, my wife has already spoken with them and explained the situation and they continue to call 10 - 20 times a day, seven days a week, total harassment and totally illegal per the Federal Trade commission. Hopefully after I talked to them tonight they get the message.
I am getting these calls on a Verizon cell phone at all times of the day. they only let it ring twice then **** up. I would answer them to find out how to stop the calls but I have a policy of never answering a call from outside my area code that I dont know. I have no dealings with wells fargo and I never will. I would think that a real bank would leave a message to call them back.
This number called me to reach my son, who is in college. They identified themselves as "Wells Fargo Card Services" and wanted to talk to my kid. I told them he moved away to college, gave them the number, and told them we didn't have much contact with him anymore. They said they'd report it. That was two days ago. The next morning, I received another call from Oregon, and this time I was less than polite. I explained I already informed them the party they were trying to reach did not live there and had already given them the number. She said w***ver called before failed to post it in the computer but that she would post it. I gave her the number, made her repeat it, and I ***g up. Since then, I have received five calls an hour from that number. Today, I called it myself from another number, and I told them if they were attempting to collect a debt, they were now in violation of FDCPA of 1977 and I was going to seek civil damages. I insisted on being transferred to a supervisor. After 25 minutes, I was, and she pretended not to hear me. This is a scam. She attempted to get me to give SSNs and credit card numbers, and I refused. "How ****** do you think I am?" I asked her. "Pretty effin ******" she laughed, and ***g up. Don't know how to stop this. I hear if you block that number, they'll just use a different extension.
All of a sudden, I s****ed receiving phone calls from this phone number that I didn't recognize. They literally called 10 times in a three hour time frame... When I finally answered, they immediately asked for my credit card number - and I knew so****ing was wrong with that. Who does that?! They claimed to be calling from Wells Fargo, but I knew it was a spam call! Do not give these people any of your info and be direct with them by telling them to remove you from their list. After I did this, the phone calls stopped.
I've read on a few message boards about people reporting this number as a scam. I refuse to answer numbers that I do not know. This number does not leave a voicemail. I have received 6 phone calls from this number in the past 2 hours. Is there any way for me to block this number or report some sort of harrassment??I'm worried this number will s**** contacting my family as well.
calls everyday multiple times. unknown to me. no answer when picked up. very annoying! They need to be stopped!

I just now have received 7 calls from this number within the past hour. I picked up on the last call, and they immediately ***g up on me.Apparently the number is sourced from ******ton, Oregon.
I am exhausted from receiving unsolicited calls from this number. I work quite early in the morning and have been disturbed every night since 10/12/09. I don't know who owns the number. I don't have any dealings or business with Wells Fargo. In addition, I have no consumer debt and no contact with collection agencies. These are the calls that I have received: 10/12/09 9:23 am, 11:01 am, 8:53 pm10/13/09 9:21 am, 8:33 pm10/14/09 9:16 am, 8:32 pm10/15/09 9:18 am, 1:25 pm, 8:26 pm10/16/09 9:36 am, 1:27 pm
We just received a call Today - Sunday of a Bank Holiday Weekend (However you feel about Colubus Day, the banks are still Closed on Monday), okay I know better than that to begin with and definitely that if a Bank is calling me about an Account, they would ALREADY KNOW YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER, they're the BANK.These are not simple fly-by-night scammers, somehow they came up w/my Debit Card # last Summer and really caused us headaches when my ATM card stopped working while on Vacation and had to go to Well's Fargo to figure out getting home and such other trivial matters when one's card stops working, fortunately at least there are Wells Fargo Banks in Oregon but THIS IS NOT THE BANK because I just got off the phone w/WELLS FARGO FREUD DEPARTMENT who indicated they were having this problem w/a number of their customers, many who apparently are not aware of NOT GIVING YOUR INFORMATION OUT TO ANYONE CALLING YOU EVER, I'm actually surprised the Caller ID registered the #, I'm going to Notify the John Walsh @ AMW about this in case the folks who apparently may be even OUT OF THE COUNTRY have been attempting the same Iden***y Theft and Robberies in other States, just in case this may be people who have traversed various States previously attempting their ill-will on innocent Americans, for this is not a Scam to sell you so****ing that isn't going to work, this is IDEN***Y THEFT at it's most vulnerable points. In addition, what are these people doing w/the $ they do get, kind of scary to think about isn't it?Okay just thought I'd give you an update STRAIGHT FROM WELLS FARGO FREUD DEPARTMENT as of this afternoon - Note once a***n: IT IS NOT WELLS FARGO, the person who confirmed earlier that it was even on this board is INCORRECT.Thanks and best wishes in keeping you information as Private as possible in such a public World.
I a***n called 503-403-2657 and got a real live human being this time. She answered with "Wells Farge Card Services". I explained that I was receiving calls from this number and gave her the number and wanted to know why. She asked if I was Earnest Corbit and I answered that I was not, but that he had this phone number before I got it last year. She said thank you, and stated she would remove the number from their data base. We will see.
We have received calls at 0831 for the last four days from this number and no one has come on the line from the calling number. I called the number today and it was identified as Wells Fargo. I spent 34 min. on hold and was then disconnected. We do not have any accounts with Wells Fargo. At this point I am unable to figure out what is going on.
Argh. I suddenly s****ing getting ****arded as well with out of the blue calls to my cell from this same number just this week. Up to a couple of dozen calls, v-mails/****-ups in a few days so far. Knew so****ing had to be wrong. Even the most obnoxious collections "agents" are not THAT persistent, are they? That said, the first few voicemails did have a live person asking for a male name that I didn't recognize (and unfortunately now don't remember). At the time I just****umed it was some collection agency and that sooner or later they'd figure out they had a bad number for this guy, but it's s****ing to get pretty intrusive. Perhaps if they actually bothered to LISTEN to my outgoing greeting they'd know it's not their guy, but heaven forbid they'd have anything other than a robo-dialer with no freakin ears. After about 8 calls the vmails stopped and now they just **** on the line long enough to leave me a **** up vmail. Nice.So I called the number and got "Wells Fargo Card Services." The nice woman with the Indian accent asked for my account number. I told her I was not a customer but was receiving a harassing number of calls to my cell and messages looking for someone I've never heard of, or leaving 6-10 **** ups a day. She took my phone number, pulled it up on her computer (allegedly) and asked if I knew this person. When I confirmed that I did not, she told me she would remove my number and the calls should stop immediately. Fingers crossed! I don't know if it's a scam or not. When YOU place the call to most business's customer service centers (financial services or otherwise) the first thing they ask for is your account number so that they can pull up your info and****ist you so I don't find that overly su****ious. You should NEVER respond to unsolicited requests for that info or your SSN even if it appears to be from a company you have legitimate business with. Now being asked for your whole SSN is a bit off even if you are the caller, but that was not my experience. I'll just have to wait and see if the harassing calls stop.

These people keep calling and calling. I never answer because I don't know the number. They once left an accidental voicemail and it was just background noise then it sounded like someone said "Sh*t!" and ***g up. After that, they s****ed calling my home number!
Do NOT give these people any information....they are scammers. I called back and this guy from India said "hi Wells Fargo may I have your credit card number" and I said "absolutely not, can I get your name and office location" and he said his name was Fred and he could not think of a location.DON'T GIVE IN AND GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!!!!
This is a fraud info gathering company.I also have never had an account at Wells Fargo. I called the number back the first time and got an answering ma****e that said they were open until 8 pm on Sunday (I called at 12 pm on Sunday). Then I called a***n on a Monday and they wanted my social security number.I ***g up (don't EVER give anyone your social security number over the phone. They should have asked for the last four digits but the entire thing and I didn't call them?
got 3 calls yes****ay, 08july09, and 2x today, just now.i never call back since i dont know this number, but im justwondering wth this number want to me..
Today, thus far, I have rec'd the following calls from this number:July 4 2009: 8:13am, 9:58am, 10:46am, 11:29am, 2:19pmThat is 5 so far, and today is a holiday. What really angers me is that yes****ay I explained the situation for the 100th time to a Wells Fargo employee, only to be transferred, then transferred, then placed on hold for 2 hours (I had it on speakerphone on fax ma****e) before I finally ***g up. This is what has been going on with Wells for months and months now.
not sure why they were calling me but once I called back they immediately wanted the last four of my "wife's" social. I asked what for and was told that they could only give that info once verified. That it was concerning her business. I told them to call her cell adn ***g up...
It is the collections dept at Wells Fargo. Their 800 lines all have different ext's with a 503 prefix. That's just one automated extension dialing out.
I keep getting calls from the number 503-403-2657. The first time they called, I told them to stop calling me, but I have received several calls since then- SO, I called them this evening to tell them to take me off their list and this is when I realized it was a FRUAD- info gathering SCAM (for iden***y theft purposes)!! ***They answered PRETENDING to be Wells Fargo! and the FIRST thing they asked me for was my account number and then my SSN! As an FYI, I do NOT, nor have I EVER, held an account at Wells Fargo!
we get the same calls everyday from that number
Called Wells Fargo, since we were getting the same problem. They said all their numbers are prefaced with 800, no matter what. They don't know how to make the calls stop either. Sorry.
Keep getting phone calls from 503-403-2657 on my son's phone. He called back one time and found it was an automated answering service for Wells Fargo Bank and then ****ed up. He is 14 and has nothing to do with Wells Fargo. The same number called his phone 4 times today alone. Since it is an automated answering service, I am not sure how to get them to stop.
