Just got called with the same scam. Said they were verifying information for the listing for this year. When asked if we paid for the listing last year they said "yes" when I asked how much we paid they ***g up.Don't bother calling this number, I did and it never even rang. I called the number I found on the web site onlinenationalyellowpages.com. The woman I talked to seem to take me seriously and said she would look into it. I think it's a scam to verify information like it's not the first time you call, then send out an invoice because someone answering the phone doesn't realize it. But it's a scam for sure if they tell you that you paid for the listing last year when you didn't. If you paid for this with a credit card, call the CC company and get a REFUND. Tell them to look at this site to back up what you say.The $390 fee means they can pay a BIG incentive to the telemarketers. Report this and every other call you get to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222. It only takes a few minutes and they are s****ing to go after these companies when they tget enough calls about them.

Caller said he was with Century Tel Yellow Pages. Wanted to know if we wanted to make any c****es to our ad and said he would send a bill out for $300 for a years advertising. Funny, we pay monthly for this and just recently renewed our contract. Told him to take our number off of his list and go somewhere else with his scam. Told him if and when I receive an invoice from his "company" I would turn it over to the state attorney general. Funny thing.........he ***g up on me.

Claimed to be with a yellow page company. Asked if I wanted to make any c****es to my listing in yellow pages. Said they could renew current contract for one year at $300 and would send invoice. I would then have 3 days to cancel. Don't even have a yellow page listing!!!! Total scam. Tried to call number back and got nothing.

Caller said he is from yellowpages and my ads are about to expire. He knew the name of my business, but said that he will offer the same rate they gave me in 2007. thats when i realize he is full of it becuase I s****ed the business in 2008 so theres no way i was marketing on yellowpages in 2007. BIG SCAMMERS! Beware!

caller said he represented yellow pages and wanted to verify  before new billing was sent. This num always calls me always a different person on the other end  definate scammers. ALways asks for a manager.

I received a call from 567-248-0217. A lady asked for the office manager. I asked if it was a telemarketing call and she ***g up. I called the number and got a recording that "no one answered - call back later".

Man called from this number trying to get "authorization" for some kind of online directory, said he was closing and if we waited until monday it would cost ***dreds more, that our current subscription had already expired 3 weeks ago and we were going to loose our.. what ever, he never made clear what he was selling, just tried to trick us into "authorizing" it..  Watch out for this one DEFINATE SCAM!!

Asked for person in charge of business and when you tell them they're not here, they **** up.... obviously selling so****ing....
