Got the third call from these people just a few minutes ago. As I'm just waiting to get through airport security, I decided to see who it was before I lose my innocence at the hands of a TSA agent. The guy wouldn't tell me the company name, but said he was trying to collect a debt from Michael Jon Carter. Since I work for a company that does, in fact, publish comic books with the character named Michael Jon Carter, better known as Booster Gold, I told him I'd see what I could do. Just an odd, odd call.

that number showed up on my cell phone caller id about 3 times. i dont answer numbers i dont know. but today i was bored so i decided to block my number and call the number back.. it was a debit collector, i honestly didnt have to give my name, i did provide my tel # though, the persons name was eric, anyways i ask what the call was regaurding he simply said " my kids ***hers" name, i advised him that i speak to him offten, eric said that my kids ***her gave my # and said it was his, and also that we were married, i advised him that i havent been with him in 6 years and this isnt his # and told him that i will provide him with the last known # and eric asked if he was currently working i told him that he hasnt worked since i left 6 yrs ago, and " good luck, trying to have him pay back what ever money is owed, being as though i havent recieved child support in 6 years, but all in all the represenative that i spoke to wasnt that bad. he said he would remove my # from there records, i will absolutley , this web site know if they call me back.

People calling on phone wanting to talk to someone that doesnt live here.....people dont know how to leave people alone..

Called - left no message - I see from other boards this company is ConServe - trying to collect on student loans - seem to call every last name (example: 'Williams' in a town's phone directory to find 'the' williams they are looking for. Spoke once to them - rude & slick - won't answer questions - just asks questions

They've called repeatedly asking for me.  My wife has taken the calls; they've refused to answer her questions about who they are or why they want to speak with me.  They've tried repeatedly to get her to disclose my birthdate and the last 4 digits of my security number.  My wife says they've been very rude and demanding during each call.

A female asked if I was someone with same first name, but different last name as a relative; my mom thought it was us kids joking at first. They asked her to tell them what year she was born. When she refused, They screamed at her and insisted she that person. Screamed at her at the top of their lungs... just horrible- REALLY! I rang back the number, but no one would tell us who they were or what they wanted. The woman said they would call every single day until we answered all their questions.INCREDIBLE!!
