Leave a CommentI continusly get calls from this number. I won't answer and they never leave a message.
Fill out information for several jobs from Craig's List and immediately began receiving phone calls from a 800 number. 2 days later I put a block on all 800 calls to my number and the very next morning I received a all from 1-646-320-0696. I missed the call and they didn't leave a voice mail. I now know the two are connected.
Same here, I received this call in response to sending my resume out for a job opportunity.I received a voice / phone message stating that the client did not want to reveal any information (the client information was confidential) and that I should call 646-520-0696 to speak with a verification rep., this sounds fishy.I would like to know what can be done about these scams. I'm s****ing to believe that the sites that post the jobs are not trustworthy for allowing this scam to be placed on their sites.I will not be calling this number back
I got a call from this number stating that I had applied for a job in the last week and they were a job screening company. All I got was a recorded message and put on hold forever. They have called my phone twice now just today. I want to make it stop. I hope it is not charging me more than any other phone call.
I received a call today they had my info, and i verified my info with them. I think i just got scammed, ****! what can i do now ????? can anyone help me?
scam
I don't know what these people are up to, but they're lying about it. They left a message saying they wanted to verify a job application I made recently, but I haven't applied for any job. From what I've read on the 'Net, they ask a lot of questions about your education and not much else. Stay away from them. I'm going to report them to the state and federal authorities.
Just got call from them I am****uming this is bu***hit
Applied for a job on job.com and received a call 8 days after, they told me it was a screening interview and could take from 5 to 45 minutes, actually it took 3 minutes. Then the guy on the phone told me to expect a call from the employer in a couple of days. Called about 5 minutes ago and this time a woman answered and told me I was selected for an interview and she could not give any more information. This morning I received an alert from job.com where the same position was a***n posted, this time for a different city in Florida, that's why I called back.

Got the same call and it is program to get information on you so they could send it to online schools, it's not really for a job I don't think.. This is the 2nd time I have gotten this call and it's always the same!! They just want info to sell to other companies!!
yeah, from the looks of things, I'm REALLY glad I didn't pick up!
They constantly call but won't leave a message!!!
Applied for an online job posting at hotjobs.yahoo.com , The company name was confidential. The hotjobs.yahoo.com link for applying went to web page ***led Mandarin Employment, Application Page. It seemed legitamate. During the basic information gathering, it seemed a little strange that questions about continuing my education were asked. They claim to be part of the Career Network. Got the call as others have. They asked way too little information for this being a telephone job screening, then went into asking about continuing my education. I ***g up. Checked and area code is Manhattan, New York.
Called it back and I got a message saying all circuits are busy.
