I just got the same call, and same message on call back.

Funny, *I* s****ed getting these calls after I cancelled my AZ Republic subscription too.  I could have written the other Kara's post (and it was a little creepy reading it, having a very similar experience with this caller).  I'm going to try her tactic and see if it works, because the Republic refunded me the balance on my account, so I know I don't owe them money!

I s****ed receiving calls from this number on my cell phone about three days ago, around the same time I cancelled my newspaper subscription with the Arizona Republic.  I live in Arizona, not Minnesota.  Normally they call once a day but today they called twice - 9:05 AM and 6:52 PM.  I finally answered their call and immediately stated not to call me ever a***n and ***g up...didn't say*****o nor waited for "them" to speak.  Hope AZ Republic didn't sell my cell phone number to this scam company, especially when I know I do not owe them any money.

i knew it was a newspaper salesman, but had no idea about the rest.  good to know.

*** - non stop for over a month (first call June 5, 2010) --- they call me before noon and after 5pm EVERY day  UGH!   It's soooo frustrating.  Even when I answer, no one is there!!!!   I think I'd rather talk to someone so I can "vent"  HA!   Thanks for the posts!

I got a call at 12:38 today, left a message I couldn't understand.  Asking for someone and said they were a trucking company in Minnesota about some application that was submitted.  They called a***n at 8:38 at night and did not leave a message then. they left an 800 number that did not work.

Yeah I get a call 3 - 5 times a day when i answer it ****s up.  When I call back it states, "You have reached a non-working number".  I ended up having to put it on my do not disturb list.

They called my son's cell phone. Asked for someone (couldn't understand). I told them they must have the wrong number. She asked if I was the lady of the house and I told her this is my underage son's cell phone (which it is) and we didn't recognize the number. She apologized and she ***g up.Didn't know who they were until we looked up the number online.

Did not leave a message.  Tried calling back and it is supposedly disconnected.

This is a scam. Don't give them your credit card number.

they keep calling and when I called back it said the number had been disconnected but then called right back-***!

They call us about every few days. I have no clue who this is, or how they got our number. I've answered several times, but they **** up every time. We don't live anywhere near Minnesota, where supposedly the area code is for. If you get a call from this number, do not answer and instead block the caller.

Calls come in from this number at all times of day/nite, and when I answer they **** up.

this # calles 3-5 times a day!!!!! wont leave msg or talk to us. wont stop calling I'm am tired of it

i had the same thing...got lots of missed calls, couldnt call back. once though i answered and there was some girl who kept insisting i owed a newspaper 11 dollars. she wanted my credit card info... i told her i'd do it online on the website if that was the case and ***g up. i called the newspaper up from their official number and it was all fake.

I pick up and no one is there.  Called it back and went to a disconnect recording.

Same thing for me, I pick up and no one is there and when I call back it says non working number.  It's always after 5... and on my cell phone

They called my cell phone - no message left and cannot return using that number.

I get the same thing. It is s****ing to make me mad.

These people call 1-2 times a day. They let the phone ring untill you pick up then they **** up. If it goes to voice mail they never leave a message. Very annoying. S****ing to get really angry!

This is a newspaper salesman...they ****. I asked to be removed and am still looking to block the number.

Recieved couple of calls from the same number asking for people who dont live here.

Have received many calls from this number...when I answer no one on the line.  Call the number and recorded message states that it is a non working number.  Anyone else getting lots of calls from the number?
