Call for credit card users late on payments

They call the hospital and **** up when you answer tyhe phone. When I call back it ask for your account #. I never got to speak to a live person to ask who they are trying to get. I **** up. It is anoying because they call about 3-4 times a day.

This is a scam. If you answer, they **** up. If you call it back they ask you to type in your social sec number

Transfer calls like this either to Dial A Prayer or a *****ge parlor.

Lowes credit. It's obvious they don't understand the process when an individual files bankruptcy

Lowes Credit has called me at least 10 times in the last couple days for no apparent reason. They are really getting to be a pain in the ****.

Lowes credit hounds wanting your money

Calls all day on personal cell phone...never leaves a message. husband has quite a few health issues so i need to have the phone with me when i'm away from home..can't shut it off all the time.

Just like many of the other comments i received this call and heard an automated voice telling me to hold. I have no Lowe's credit account.

What I can add to all this is about 678 518 2904:If you hear the recorded message, need to stay on the line for 3 or 4 or 5 seconds untill someone on the other end gets connected (the way automated system works with room full of operators).We had been getting two calls a day for last week and a half. Wife would either not answer in time (no message left) or she would answer and hear the short recorded message "this is an important call", then hear nothing and she would **** up after a couple seconds and say "there is ***ody there, is just a ****** recording".Today; I answered the call, heard the recorded message, and waited about 5 seconds, and then someone said*****o and asked to speak to someone I never heard of (but whos name is somewhat simialar to wifes). I say there is no one here by that name, and I gave our names to prove it, and stated that have been recieving many calls and consider it harrasment and requested to be removed from thier call list. I asked who it is that is calling. He just a***n asked to speak to that other person ***ay, now I am mad.) I explained a***n (louder) that this is so and so's phone, do not know any such person. He said he would remove our number from the system.What does not make sence is:- this is wifes work phone. Not used on any credit card account of any sort.- caller is asking for a particular persons name, as if that person gave this number, or the number was in error. BUt then the caller says "will remove your number from our system", as if it is just a number in a list, not a number for a particualr person.I have a therory:This is just a scam to get the name of the person. This increases the value of the number to be sold to other marketerrs. arughhhhI tell you, some folks have no decency at all.

Calling on behalf of Lowes, was a day late and they acted like the world was coming to end an because I forgot to make my payment. VERY RUDE PEOPLE THERE!!

Continuing to call my cell phone several times a day. I have it blocked but it still goes to voicemail. Sometimes they say*****o, sometimes just **** up but never leave a message.

They wont say anything when I pick up. they've called at least 20 times in the past 2 weeks.

Don't know who this is but they keep calling my cell phone which costs me each minute.

Repeated calls to home and cell phone 'offering credit services.'Asked me for my credit card information before willing to talk. When I asked what company they 'represented' ***g up.

No complaint. A legitimate call as I forgot to make payment.

Usually, received 2-4 calls a day. An operator will say:" Please waint a short time, all operators are busy at this time." I always ****-up right away.

I get this call too--no message--just a call.  When I called back, the first recording says please enter your card number, the second recording says "please say or enter your social security number"  I spoke to a person who told me his name was Ryan Austin and it was about my Lowe's account (my account is current so I knew they were fishing).  When I ask what it was about they said they needed my home phone, account number and social security number.  I informed "Ryan" that I was forwarding this information to the proper authorities.  This is an obvious scam---DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

HERE'S A TIP: For annoying frequent calls (ie debt collectors) to your cell phone you could save the numbers that call and****ign them a unique ringer ID to ring as 'Silent'. So you'll get the call but it won't ring your phone and bother you. Then instead of getting annoyed or frustrated you can just laugh. Sure it seems they call from a million numbers but after a week or two you'll have them all saved and silenced. (ps. I ran into an old Nokia phone with no Silent setting so what you might do is just create your own ringtone with just of couple "pauses".)

Credit Services wants account number. Then want ss#. Then I got transferred. First thing they wanted is my home phone number

Calls all hours of the day anywhere from 8am to past 9pm... over 20 calls probably within the past 3 days. Very annoying!

Caller will not identify himself and asks to speak to someone I do not know. I told him he had a wrong number, but the calls keep coming, 3 times in one day. I refuse to answer when I see the number. A message is never left. These people need to be stopped.

They sounded Arabic and asked if I had a Lowes Credit Card and asked for the number. I asked who am I speaking to and they said this is in reference to your Lowes Account, please give me your credit number. I ***g up and called Lowes.

Another one of those unknown phone calls. There is a scam out there where consumers should be aware. These unknown numbers are actually con-artist where they are stealing your minutes away from your cell phone. Report these numbers immediately. This is illegal and they can be prosecuted to the fullest and I.D. theft.

Keeps calling about the same time each week always around 12-1 pm. Never leaves voice mail. When returned the call, an automated voice stated that they were Credit Financial Ins***ution and that I was to speak or punch in my credit card number. Yeah..right! ***g up.

These people need to go away. Isn't there someone that can stop this ****? They call and call and call. No message. I refuse to answer the damm phone. GO Away!

Then they said I could avoid a late charge of $30.00 by giving my Visa or Mastercard number to pay my overdue payment right away. I told them I would get on-line later to pay the overdue payment. Then the quoted my address and email address as asked to contact me. I said no and ***g up. I called back a few hours later and received a recording that said it was a credit cervices company and to enter or say my account number. I just listened. Then it repeated that it needed my account number and it was in the upper right hand corner of my statement. I then said "I don't know". It recognized that and said it was transferring me. Then the recording said all lines were busy and to try back later. This was obviously a scam and DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!

I saw someone mention that the caller ID comes up as GE Money. I believe that GE Money is a collection agency for Lowes Credit Cards.

They have been calling me all day for the past 3 days and never leave messages.

Just got a call at 8:40 Am on September 10, 2008. The caller asked for me by name. The caller had a middle eastern accent and when I asked who they were the caller stated their name was "Ethan ***t" First time I have ever had a call like this. I ***g up.

I'm getting these calls now too.What I do with them when I find them online here is save the # to my phone, give them a name... like ******, set the ringer to silent for that # when it calls in.. that way the phone wont ring and it'll just goto Vmail.I did this with the last telemarketer # I found on here that was callin my cell and it eventually quit calling me.

How much money does it cost them to call me and not even talk.  I answer the phone and ***ody every says a word on the other end.  They only call on weekends, past three, never during the week.  I have a Lowes card, but do not carry a balance on it, so owing them so****ing can’t be the reason they call.  I have no idea, who, what, and why this is occurring.

This number keeps showing up on our phone at home and they don't leave a message or what it is about. All they say is they will be calling back. I am tried of them calling here s****ing at 8:00 in the morning and continue to call all day long. So****ing needs to be done about these people. I have been receiving calls from this number. This number is affiliated with 330-433-5996 (GE or Lowes credit cards). It too is for Credit Services. I guess since that had them remove me from the 330-433-5966 they would s**** calling me from 678-518-2904.One more phone call and I will report them to the BBB.

This same # is calling me 4-5 times a day with messages that are undecipherable. I would like to know if there is a way to stop this # from calling me.
