Call is a scam call...had T-Mobile check it out! Caller knew my name too. I added scam block on my phone.

Received a text from (567)205-1382 stating: "BofA: Your debit card has been restricted, please call 800.293.0819 to authenticate your account." I believe this is a scammer call as Bank of America does not work this way. I blocked the original number and deleted the text. Beware out there!!

Refinancer Since I started a refi with Wells Fargo two days ago I have been getting calls, including about 6 from this number. I hadn't picked up before, but finally I did when they called today. A woman (sounding a bit faint like a boiler room often does) asked" if Mr or Mrs (us) was there" and I said speaking - and then she cut off the call. Boo!

Both of these organizations will follow through, but we have to complain first. (PS they also told me I need to send a certified letter to Coast to Coast to let them know I am opening complaints).

VERY UPSET They called stating they receive information from my credit report because a mortgage lender had pulled my credit and they were to call to give me information on rates so I could find a better rate (like someone approved them to be GOD!!)....but I got upset with her because she has no right to be in my credit report, she was not asked, and they were out of line for doing such...she called me rude for being upset...but who is the rude one here...interfering in someones credit report, seems to me is an illegal action against them...BE CAREFUL WHO YOU REPRESENT JUST FOR A PAYCHECK...BECAUSE GOD IS WATCHING!!Caller: BBB or BBT...

roni this number started calling my house every 15 minutes or so every morning around 9 am until i answer and tell them my sister isnt home. she just applied for a mortgage last week which was when the calls began. finally i answered the phone today and told the woman that i want them to stop calling multiple times and the woman said that that was the first time she called today (it was the 4th) and she hung up on me! im reporting them to the bbb once i can figure out who they are!

Not sure why this company is calling me 20 times a day, I have counted. When you call the number back you cannot reach anyone.

alot of 800 numbers call daily. very annoying. I was told to turn on my "no soliciation" and this would stop the callers. It saves you from answering, if it is a person on the other end, they have to press one otherwise it turns off!

I was used to get so ticked about this until we got a phone recently that I can set to block numbers that I do not want calling me. Once I establish that the call is bogus I just click to save it to my block list. Now when they call it will ring once and then show up as a blocked call. I can still look on my caller ID to see the number that was called. The company will be fined for each complaint so that is the best way to get taken off their mailing list. If I can I take the time to report each call.

Tracy Must be Tracfone calling again to remind me to buy more minutes for my "Straight Talk" account... But, why don't they leave me a message?!?

I got a call from this number shortly after I applied to refinance my home loan. The person claimed they were from Equifax, asked a couple questions about the kind of loan I wanted, then transferred me to a "representative,: who worked form Flagship Mortgage. This guy tried to present himself as somehow related to the banker I was already working with. I played along with him, then immediately called my banker, who confirmed it was not related to him. The guy called the next morning and I told him I wasn't interested, then an hour later his "supervisor" called and I just told him never to call again and hung up.

I've got several calls from that number. Please help me figure out who is calling me

Tracy Candace, thanks for the info. This number showed up on my landline caller ID. I do have Straight Talk as well from Wal-Mart. I don't know if they're calling me to remind me that my plan has to be renewed soon, but if that's the case, then, leave a message!!!

Candace Called, and put me directly on hold without saying a word. I have majic jack, and my number is not listed. I have no idea who it is. We have no outstanding debts, so I do not believe that is related. Also, for the person who posted about Straight Talk (Tracy), I too have Straight Talk. And, they ARE affiliated with Trackfone. Straight Talk is owned by Net 10, which also owns Trackfone, and they all three use Verizons towers for their service.

The name of the company is Coast to Coast Marketing LLC. Ikeep asking for them not to call but they keep calling.

Person calling VIOLATED FDCPA. Gave her name and a call back number, but refused to tell me what company. I told her to remove me from her list, she refused saying it is a business matter. When called back refused to ID company again. I issued a verbal cease and desist to the calls until she agrees to ID the company she's calling from. She did slip and tell me it was a medical thing for my wife and she cannot tell me the company, however, FDCPA states she must provide the info when asked.

Automated call from a Mrs Williams at National Medical Imaging. She knows my name and says to call her. When you call the number back it's another automated system that no one answers. They have called every day for over a week.

Seems like a scam. They demanded that I send them money within 3 days or they will harm me. They claim that it is for a medical service from 3 years ago. They haven't and won't send me a bill or a list of charges. They mention Wilkens NMI.

Tracy I see by reading other people's posts that it's probably Tracfone calling. I have a pre-paid "Straight Talk" plan from Wal-Mart, and this plan isn't affiliated with TracFone.

Bill I have received 10 phone calls from this number in the past week. They list their number as a toll free call. When I called their number to identify them, they identified themselves as Tracfone. I have informed them in the past that I did not want to receive any phone promotions, or specials by email or phone calls. I have a tracfone cell phone, so now they decide to call my land line phone. I am registered with both the national and Wisconsin do not call lists. Apparently they think that this does not apply to them.

There is an automated recording that says something like: "hi it's julie from tracphone calling with money saving offers. You have taken advantage of our money saving offers in the past. It's the same voice/message all the time so it has to be a pre-recorded automated dialer, not a real person. When I call the number it only gives me two options to continue to receive these annoying calls or to opt out but I am already on the DO NOT CALL list for 3 months and I should not have to call to opt out and they keep calling.

Rosebud I get these calls every day several times a day. There are about 4 or 5 of these 800 numbers that call one right after the other. It seems like all you get done doing is checking caller id all day. It's annoying to have a recording and no one on the other end that you can tell to don't call ever again. I just answered this call but didn't say anything. It does nothing for a few minutes then you get a busy signal. When are these calls going to quit?

Left a message on April 29, 2009 Says I entered in a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator. 1-800-293-7105 left on my voice, I was given the Name Cheryl Anthony as a contact person. Everytime I called the line was busy. I do not remeber entering in a sweepstake.

I was skeptical and annoyed by this call as I had previously registered my # on the National Do Not Call Registry, which is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (www.donotcall.gov). On 4/18/09 at 8:08 pm CT, I received the below recorded message on my voice mail: "Hi this is Greg. I am in the Claims Department for the Prize Distribution Center. The call is in regards to an entry form submitted in the Grand Devoy Sweepstakes submitted within the last 18 months in hopes of winning a brand new Lincoln Navigator. Well the contest is officially over; I am looking at your entry form and I have some great news. What I need you to do is contact Cheryl Anthony at the office, she can be reached toll free 800-293-7105; again Cheryl Anthony can be reached toll free 1-800-293-7105. She will have all of the details regarding this awarding. This is a time stipulated contest and we need to speak with you as soon as possible. Once again congratulations and we look forward to speaking with you soon. Thank you." On 4/30/09 at 9:46 am CT (mainly out of curiosity) I called the # which naturally had a recorded greeting stating: "Hello and thank you for calling the Distribution Center. If you know your party's extension, dial it now or dial zero for the operator." I dialed zero, however another recorded message from Greg stated to leave my name and phone # so they could return my call. Obviously I did not leave a message and plan to report this 800# on the 'do not call' site. I am quite amazed at how much info I found on Google just searching for this 800# as well as 'Prize Distribution Center'. Apparently this company has hundreds of 800 numbers on which they are running this same or similar scams. Please be cautious with anyone not actually having your info already, do not offer anything until you have sufficiently confirmed their legitimacy.

The law firm of Cohen & Slamowitz. They are calling to collect on a debt just as an agency would.

This number is from Sterling & King. And yes Mr. Fisher uses Very threatening tactics and was also leaving harassing messages with my 15 year old son. I would love to be involved in a class action law suit against this man and this very unprofessional collection agency. IN YOUR A** MR. FISHER
