Sheila They will keep calling you even if you've asked them not to and even if you don't have that CPAP any more. You can call 800-246-9615 and leave a message to get your # removed, but like I said it doesn't always work.

This company specializes in collecting on delinquent student loans. They also have an office in Horseheads, NY. My new cell phone number obviously belonged to a young lady who wasn't paying her student loan.

Rec'd call today September 15, 2009 @ 4:44PM PST. Was not home, no msg left. I called the number back and it rang once and the cut to a busy signal.

Keep calling and ****ing up after 2-3 rings. No message. I never had a mortgage with them.
Automated cold call telling my "chance to lower my credit card rates would expire soon" - pressed one to talk with someone and he claimed they had authorization but could not tell me for which credit card. Said you can select an option to remove yourself from the list.
this is from a collection company called GRC (General Revenue Corporation). A few thoughts - keep a detailed log of when they call. They are NOT permitted to harrass you in this manner. Also send them a letter DEMANDING that they stop calling you. Send it registered, retrurn reciept requested. If they still call then you need to contact an attorney in your area to****ist you as they appear to be in violation of Federal and possibly state law.Also. When you do your taxes do what is called an "injurde spouse allocation" form. The purpose of this is that they will only be able to take the part of your refund that is attributable to your husband's income and not yours. If you have already done them for this year you can still do the form and send it in and they will the part of the refund attributable to your income.
