I got a pre-recorded message saying that I won a vacation in Cancun and in Florida. The message told me to call 1-800-968-7108... its strange because we never parti****ted in any contests... Anyways when its to strange to be true , its usually not true! Good call Grace :-)
I received a call from "Ben Purncey" (ext. 3372) stating that he was from Agway Energy and that he wanted to speak with the person in charge of decision-making. I told him that they were unavailable but that I could take a message. Then he proceeded to ask for the name of the person he should be asking for when he calls a***n, to which I answered that I did not feel comfortable giving names to some one who had no idea who they were even calling. He went on telling me that he didn't have a name in the database so I told him he could just talk to me, but he refused to because rather than telling him that I was authorized to make decisions, I told him that I would speak with the person who was authorized. He was very clear that when he gave me his phone number, it was solely for the 'person in charge' to return his call.
I keep receving calls from Direct Energy. They are trying to get our account away from ComEd. I keep telling them we are not interested and to remove our name from their list. DOES NO GOOD!! They keep calling and calling and calling and calling........
They have been calling my office for about two weeks. They say they are with Reliant Energy - Business Services. When I return the call and tell them that I lease my office ****e from Weingarten Realty and that I do not pay for electricity there, they ask for the landlord's phone number. I have been told two times they will remove my name from their marketing list. They called a***n this morning...
