Definitely a scam. They leave an automated message about my ssn that I've gotten from multiple different numbers from multiple different states.

Randi They leave an automated message threatening legal action but do not indicate who is calling. Called back and spoke with a foul-mouthed crook claiming to be with the SSA and asking my name. When I said the SSA would not be calling me he got NASTY.

Bob, or is it? They called my house @ 9:30pm and was telling me about how my Windows computer was downloading viruses, etc. I played along and wanted to see what they wanted me to do. This guy (Bob...but, obviously NOT Bob) was telling me to go to this file and that file and then to run a program...he started telling me a program code for me to type...again, I was just saying like "ok..i just typed it...ok i just did that...."...just to see what he wanted but not actually doing it. My guess? He probaby wanted to put spam or something on my computer or something. This company is a bunch of a##holes.

Phone spam. Rejected call because did not recognize number. Call has been blocked on phone now and number has been reported with complaint to National no call list for violating federal no call law as number is registered on the list

Karine Caller said the name of the company was Tech Z and they received error reports through windows of my computer because I downloaded something 2 weeks ago. I told them that they would need to talk to my husband since I don't know much about this. He had strong accent (I think he was from India) and he said my husband can call him back at 832-426-3663 and his name was Mark Andrews (he did not sound like Mark Andrews!) :)

Caller said name of company was tech z and they were monitoring many error reports from my windows computer. I told them that I was not a customer of theirs, knew nothing of their service and if they were monitoring my computer they **@@** better stop. They hung up on me. Have a good day!

InNC A charge of $7.68 was made on my credit card by J-icons.biz, but I didn't purchase anything from that company. Research on net shows that it's a computer software store. When I call this phone #, it just says to leave a message. Someone is using credit/debit card #s without permission!!! I've already called my credit card company.

MelMel I saw this number on my bank statement.

Caller said he could lower my interest rate. I gave him the number from the back of the card first, then he wanted to 'verify' the numbers from the card. He had the fist 4 numbers and wanted me to give him the the other 12 and I refused.  When I would not give them to him he said, "Have a good day." and hung up.
