erika This number called us 8:45 pm on a Sunday night claiming to be PBA looking for donations. This is the second time I got a call from this number showing on my CID as NYACK 8458757353. Last time I looked it up someone made a comment that they heard it was someone scoping out houses to see if someone was home. But that comment can't be found today. So I'm unsure about this.

I had a similar call from a Mrs. Kathy Irons. She told me I owed $3,290.00.  I paid it. Are these people serious? I felt like they were very sketchy.

Scary official sounding message on answering ma****e from Miss Ryan with Reeson (sp?) law firm. She said it was "in best interest" to call "immediately" and gave a file number to referrence when calling. Called and gave her our attorney's number and she never called him. He showed us this web site.

Just got the same call from an "Ann Jones" on voicemail claiming to represent some law firm. Couldn't make it out (Reason, Reamon?). Woman even gave a "reference number". Thanks for the posts. Will investigate and report accordingly. Sounds like a scam.

mary Allison, supposedly an attorney, said that we need to call her about a serious legal matter pending in her office. Her number is in question as it a New York number, but her firm is in SC.

I got a call from Lisa Murphy back in may and i sent them a total of 200.00 by money gram to new city new york, due to being unemployed and on a fixed income couldn't send payments as agreed, i was threatned with police, jail, child protective services, they said the freedom of information act and that i ear out all the time and my husband gives me money......so i finally said half of the checks were included in ***nruptcy and the ones with my husband he wrote them and i am sick of the nasty phone calls and they call from unknown number and no address. according to the BBB they are scam 100% and there are numerous compaints from various consumers... i need help. said i have 54 bounce checks since 2001. calls from 845-678-1278
