telephone rings at the house; when answered, there is silence; so after a few vocal prompts of "hello" we have to **** up...very irritating

Yeah, my Sears card is $25 past due, a week.  They s****ed calling a***n.  I've had a Sears card for twenty-five years, but I cut it up.  The economy is ****ing most of us, and they s**** acting like vultures.  My parents have had a Sears card since 1959 (or whenever they s****ed issuing them), so we've been loyal customers a LONG time.  If Sears thinks this is going to help them, they're nuts.  Their empty stores are gonna stay empty, and people won't forget how badly they were treated during a tough time.  I will never walk into a Sears a***n, even when I get back "on my feet."  Dumb moves in difficult times.  Does CitiBank own Sears?  What's the deal?  Circuit City and Sears are dying, so maybe desperate companies take this route??

It turns out the call was legitimate. I called Union 76's number as indicated on the gas card. I identified myself and was told I had missed my minimum payment of (.... )seven days ago.  I had mislaid my bill. I quickly arranged payment. The rep was courteous and helpful. The important thing is the customer should initiate the call to****ure legitimacy.

late on one credit card and calls come all hrs of the day and up until 9pm. when left to answering ma****e, no message is given. real hassle. would be nice if message left and what card was calling.

I am cancelling their card. I dont need the hassel. My credit is super. I will open an account where they respect the business partnership.

Same story as those above, calling continously day and night and refuse to stop calling until they "speak" to the correct person. Also do not leave a message when sent to answering ma****e. Very annoying!

I'm receiving calls from this company also.  I don't even own a citi card.  They are calling me at least 6 times a day for the past 3 weeks. Thought it was a political survey. I always let the answering ma****e pick up calls like this. Tonight I figured I would find out who this is. I will make it a point to never, ever do business with a company like this.

Citibank calling about a credit card with goodyear that was $2.00 overdue!!!!  They called numerous times a day just to get $2.00!!!

Putting your number on the do not call list will do no good IF you have a business****ociation with the caller, IE Credit Card, Loan Company ETC. IF you do not have ANY****ociation with the caller, then it should work.

This is a medical office and they keep calling asking for a former employee about a Citgo card. I've told them many times not to call and that they are now in violation of the law by now continuing to call our offices but they will not stop calling. When asked for them to provide further company information about themselves, they ****up.

They call my 11 yr. old daughters # daily about 5 or 6 times a day. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling they claim they are looking for someone named Bar***.  Today they told her if she was lying to them about not knowing this person she would be punished and could go to jail.  She was scared to say the least.  Is there anything I can do about this.

Calls just about every day....if this is Citibank like other person said...I do not even have a Citibank card....I'm sick of this....

don't know who it is, they don't leave a message.  call at all hours.  from now on i'll have the fax ma****e answer calls from this number

My mother received a call from somebody claiming to be with Citibank demanding to know my current phone number and address. When she refused, they verbally abused her and even threatened her. She is very old and was visibly shaken after this horrible encounter. It is a shame these ****s are allowed to treat people this way.

Citi Bank E**on Mobil accounts calling for short payment of $10.00! What a joke!

This number calls all the time, even in the evening!  It is the most annoying thing ever!!!!  I dont answer them!!

Have called several times while we were out; even leave messages about 'sorry to put you on hold' on our voicemail.  Citibank Collection agency; number shows northern Kentucky area.  We have a dispute with Citibank over getting ripped off at Meineke in West Chester/Hamilton area.  Citi refuses to do anything for us so they inundate us with calls.  Have written cease & desist order already.

Called daily for a while.  Turned out to be one of the retail store cards that Citibank manages. In this case it was JJill.

They did not leave a message. I called the number and I got a busy signal.

Calls daily.  I called the number back and it was Citibank.  Family member has a credit card through Circuit City.  Card is being paid.  I told rep to send whatever they have to say in the mail.  He said they would keep calling every day until they reach the correct family member.
