no name at all Got a call from 423 790 0202 and left me a message to call 888 490 6754 to get 50% off my spectem bill. It was a scam call.

Anonymous I called this number it was listed under Apple Support they tried to scam me out of alot money

Claims I owe on a 11 year old citi bank visa. One the status of limitations I ga is 6 years. 2 this debt they claim has never turned up on my credit report. I’ve received various versions of this crap over the last 3 years From various individuals and nothing ever happened. Forget them

SAME message as everyone else... they always call from a local number, very shady in itself. I called them back once and tore the *****'s head off, now I'm just blocking them. S*** of the earth.

They text and called me claiming to have an open investigation on me, and said they couldn't deliver a package to my address and they needed to verify my information. The voicemail sounded scripted like they were reading it just then. Complete scam phishing for money or info!

I haven't spoke to this person claming they are from LSI but three of my relatives have. These people started with a text stating to call the number they provided and refer to the case number prevent further escalation. Just like other people have experienced. These people have been calling non stop since Friday 8/21/20. If you experience this, ignore and block the caller.

Called saying a package couldn't be delivered and then sent a text text saying there was an open investigation pertaining to (person name) to verify location information gave ref/case file #. Told to call back to prevent escalation. Absolutely a scam. They also called 2 people who know me and I relayed the message they are to be blocked.

Then a txt message from 2057842599 - saying pretty much the same thing as a phone call I got. "This is a message from LSI regarding an open investigation pertaining to Me to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 888-597-1991 and reference case file 353-01*** to prevent further escalation."

Call from 3023124308- "This is a message from LSI regarding an open investigation pertaining to Me to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 888-597-9751 and reference case file 353-01*** to prevent further escalation. That it is a time sensitive matter. "

They said” This is a message from LSI regarding an open investigation pertaining to Me to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 888-487-1084 and reference case file 350-01759 to prevent further escalation.

Dlr573 Received a text and then a phone call regarding a "case" against my name in the courts. When they say it like that with put saying what court or what the debt is regarding I always no it is a bunch of BS!

I received a text from a person with a phone number of 2057842623 claiming I had an open investigation with LSI. Message sent "This is a message from LSI regarding an open investigation pertaining to Rose, Robert L to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 888-790-1997 and reference case file 346-01** to prevent further escalation." Funny thing is I am a paralegal for a legal service and I thought this might be a scam. I looked up LSI and discovered LSI is a Credit Solution's program out of Kirkland WA with a number 425 not 205

Called my relatives and told me I had a credit card I took out back in 2013 and owed 1000$. They were going to garnish my wages and this was my last notice. Then I looked up the number and saw what u guys said and it’s for sure a scam!

They keep calling saying this is the final attempt before proceedings, they even have called my mother asking me to pick up a package? They call from a Jenera number, no idea what it is but it has to be a scam!! No place calls late if it was legal terms! They are getting blocked!!

Ana These people call non stop and have called my relatives as well. I asked them for their mailing address so I could send them a cease and desist letter but they refused to give me the address. I've told them verbally to cease and desist, but they continue calling.

La My supervisor received a phone call that I would be served papers to go to court to pay on a debt. She had me call the number back and at first a lady answered the phone and said the company name and her name so fast I could not understand. I told her that I was calling back and that I had a case number. As she was "looking up my information" I could hear kids in the background and then she "hushed" them. She finally said she was transfering me to my case administrator. I was on hold for sometime and finally a guy picked up and we verified my name but when he asked to verify my last four of my social security or birth date I told him "No" that he obviously knows it if he is threatening to serve me papers. After disagreeing for a while he finally let me that it was a credit card company that had been sold to another agency and that they were trying to get payment. Then he messed up by saying that he was looking at my credit report and that this company was on my report as a default and that I should have received a letter (which I did not). I told him that he can just serve me papers if that is what he wants to do and that I was not going to pay anything as my bills are all caught up. We'll see what happens next!

these people called my sister and lied to her about something to try to get my info. When i called them it was a collection agency for a company that was bought out and they were trying to collect on a debt that was a charge off on my acount from back in 2008. he told me i was gonna be served and have to go to court. I asked him for a statement and he said its the 21st century and they go paperless. I asked them for an address and he said that they don't give out their address. I questioned this guy and he started to use threatening tone with me. I asked him how does he expect someone to know that  he is legal if they don't send a statement. he offered me three options and one was to pay over 1800 on a 610.04 debt, or pay 360 for 6 months, or go to court. I told him I wanted an address to send payments to and he just said, its obvious you have no intention to pay this bill so i am gonna hang up and good luck in court. what an a**

wow these people called my sister. She called me and told me it was a personal matter that involved my ex husband. I have not been with my ex husband in over 8 years. I called the number and it was about a credit card that i had a charge off on and that a credit collection agancy now how the account. He told me I was gonna be served and that I needed to pay 1820.40 on a balance of 610.04. I aksed him for an address and he refused to give me a physical address and told me it was the 21st century that we use paperless. I told him no you don't use paperless when threatening people with a law suit. he offered me a settlement of 1629.05 on a 610.04 debt.  I told him he is not getting anything until i get a statement from these people  and he said no and  good luck in court. What a butt head.   these people are morons.

I was also told a "constable" was on his way.  I laughed at the guy and told him we don't constables where I am, ha ha.

ha ha, what a joke this was!  I receive two voice mails at work from Process Service Verification  (Sarah Smith and Robert Jones) stating that there is a "constable" on their way out to serve me legal papers and I needed to call 888-490-1076. What, a "constable"? ha ha, we don't have those in the USA, where are these clowns calling from? I called the number back twice, the first time I talked to Robert Carmellia in which he stated that this was for a debt which included my ex husband and I (now I have been divorce for 12 years, ha).  When I told Robert that I wouldn't offer any info until they gave ME info I was told it was for a credit card company (which I never heard of) and the dollar amount.  I again laughed at the guy and told him he better do better then that and disconnected the call.  When I received a second call (which went to my supervisor) I called 888-490-1076 back and spoke to Ronald Green.  He asked if I preferred to be served at home or work, I told him he is not to contact me again.  He said they do not make outgoing calls and it was Process Service Verification that I needed to contact to stop the calls, but yet he wouldn't give me their number.  He kept pressing for more and more info, I told him I was going to disconnect the call and he said, "well good luck in court then."  baaaa haaaa haaaa.  Seriously, if you get a call from this number just laugh at them as if it was a legitmate call you would be provided answers to ALL of your questions.

I called these people back - tried to make payment arrangement with them. Said i would mail them a money order as soon as i get home  They said no. I am on vacation - I don't carry credit cards and the woman who I spoke with said they ONLY accept credit cards for payment. She said that I need to give her my debit card number to my checking account, and I don't think that LEGALLY  they can require a debit card number be given. So ... Since I have the entire phone call recorded, we can go to court. I have record that I TRIED to make payment arrangement. I have record that they said no. The people are nice ... Until they don't get WHAT they want HOW they want it.

The number has called my half brother who does not share my last name or has ever been a reference for anything for me. I also spoke to Chris rodregaze and he told me I owed money on a credit card I've never had . What is up with this?

My husband and I and also my younger daughter keep getting calls from this number looking for my son-in-law and other daughter --- from a Mr. Mike Jones.  First of all, my son-in-law and daughter have taken care of the problem by talking with a Mr. Rodriguez who knows their situation and is working with them.  When we call back and ask for Mike Jones --- the response --- we have no one here by that name.  The guy sounds drunk and out of it on the phone as does the woman who answers the number.  I informed them to remove our numbers IMMEDIATELY or else I will take legal action.  They have assured me that the numbers have been removed.  Also I told them they better look into this "Mike Jones" person --- sounds very fishy to me!  Don't let them scare you --- call them back and put them on the spot!

Definitely Call them back. In our case, even though the message was in my name, I knew that I didn't have any outstanding debts.  They were looking for a relative that used our phone number and address before dumping the debit.   It's a good way to also make sure that with IDENTITY THIEF these days, that someone isn't using YOUR identity!

This people scared me but after talking to them it wasn't that bad we made arrangements and can't honestly complain right now. I did do my homework and verified everything was ligit before making the arrangement. Sometimes we just need to face the music.

Received a message from my family stating the same story.  They were trying to charge me $3,000 for a $600 credit card.  Play the same game with them and tell them to serve you. I don't think they will because I said ok, I spoke to my lawyer and he said to serve me and we will go to court and discuss this.  Most credit card's will settle at 60% of what is due...so tell them you will settle at that amount or go to court.  I am assuming...you will pay less and they will leave you alone.  Always request a letter from them showing the settlement amount (before paying them).  Make sure the letter states that they will report the balance in full to credit report companies and then once the funds clear ask for a balance paid  in full letter.

I got a message on my work phone stating i needed to call 888-490-4925 due to a complaint filed in a Susan Smith's office.  When i called back with my case # they placed me on hold and then a man answered stating there was no Susan Smith that worked there!  Then he proceeded to state that I was mailed out a court summons and asked if i got it.  I told him i didn't receive any letter, then he proceeded to state I had 3 options, hire legal representation, make payment arrangments or settle.  He is trying to get me to pay $830.96 for a $200.00 credit card bill.  He stated the original amount was $2,288.00 because the account was charged off and it took fees too do a search for me.  Ofcourse i was scared so I called my husband.  Needless to say, he was ****ED and is now calling him.  What should i do?? ANYONE???

calls to relatives concerning summons to be delivered to me. Never asked if I resided there or what my current address or phone number was. Asked if someone would be home on a certain day to receive the summons. certainly illegal practice being commited here. If this is happening to you file a complaint with your state's attorney general and with the ftc.

Hi...they tried to charge me 1900 for a 300 credit card...i asked him why the hell i had to pay so much he then said its because the account was charged off and it took fees too do a search for me...fyi they called and harrassed my family telling them i had a summons and they were coming to serve me...i then told them i know the law and no collection company can do that...he then stated i could make a payment of 600 and that would take care of it...these people are all out for money...negotiate...they will come down with you!!!!

A boss of mine over 15yrs ago just got a phone call on his private cell phone from "restricted'  telling him that if he knew me he should get a hold of me and that they would hold the court up 2 hrs for my court summons.  They gave a number to call and case#.  They answer Corp office.

My mother got a call from this place today saying the same thing that they were sending an officer to serve me this week or next week. Of course it scared me too so do they actually serve the summons or what? The only way i knew about it is my brother is there out of town because i have not talked to my mother in 15 years and he called me. When I called the guy was not rude at least but said I had to pay at least $500 this month and the remaining within a couple of months. They are trying to charge me $1,900.00 for a $500 credit card. I guess my question is do they serve the summons? I would love to pay them but heck can barely pay my daily expenses.

I just got a call from them a few minutes ago- he gave me my birthday and social and told me there was a summons against me, and that i needed to show up in court, will i be there or not? After argueing for a few minutes i just took down the number he gave me. He told me they had my address, and that they were sending someone to seve me and that i needed to call that number and verify that it was my actual address. Very rude and shirt and tried (and succeeded) very hard to scare me. I am home with my two kids and someone is on my cell saying that they have my adress and want to know if i am there now to come for me. I told him if he was legit then an officer would be at my door to serve me, i wasnt dealing with him any more. Just hang up on these people, BILL COLLECTORS THAT USE INTIMIDATION AND LIES.

I've gotten calls at my employer - telling them they had a "summons"for me - when I called to tell them never to call my work again - they said they didn't call because they "don't make outgoing calls"  They called my husband's cell to say I had a summons.  They are misrepresenting themselves and that is against the law

My 14 year old stepson answered the phone at home today and they told him that his parents needed to call back within an hour because they had a court-ordered summons and gave him a case number and a number to call back. The call ended up being for my ex-husband and when I called the number they answered 'corporate office' and when I asked for the name of the company he told me it was Atlanta Research something or other. I asked him what the call was about and what did the company do and he said that he was just a receptionist on the first floor and could he get my name and case number. I gave him the case number and my name and then he transferred me. I heard hold music for a second or two and then the line was disconnected. I guess since I wasn't the person they were looking for, they just hung up. Needless to say, they shouldn't leave that kind of message with kids because it scares them. Thanks to the information I read here, I feel much better knowing it was a debt collector. Thanks!

They called my job the other day and left a message with a co-worker saying that they wanted to issue a summons to me and needed me to call them back.I'm glad I came to this site and realized they are just debt collectors.Thanks everyone.

I figured as much...these people have been harassing my poor mother on a daily basis at 7a.m! She has told them numerous times that I don't live there anymore, and when I called the do***ebag (pardon my french) he was the biggest jerk I have ever spoken to! I ended up getting so riled up that I cursed him out and he hung up the phone. What ticks me off more is the amount that they are so dilligently trying to collect......is $213.49. It's unnecessary....very unecessary. They say that the name of the company is NFC, but it's Midwest Atlantic because that's the collections company listed on my credit report for that amount. Just tell them to shove it!

they are bill collectors. I just called and gave them a piece of my mind, the guy Hunter in the Legal Department, finally got mad at me and hung up the phone!!! The company is called Mid Atlantic something or other, they new things that I didn't even know!!!!! If they ever call again, tell them to go to a place where the sun don't shine and hang up on them. The person they are calling about is not in any legal trouble, they are just in debt like every other American today with this recession!!!

I just got a call from this number too. The man is very rude and seems to know everything about everything and told me that the local authorities were notified.

My wife got a call from another number telling her that she needed to contact an old friend of her's and get her to call the number above.  The man on the other end said that the cops were on the way over to our house and even knew our address when my wife asked about it!  Does anyone know anything about this number?
