Anonymous THIS IS A SPAM CALL. FAKE SAYING THEY ARE FROM THE GEEK SQUAD.
Said that my husband was being sued and I was listed as an alternate contact. Told me he'd been served a summons and asked if we'd seen it in the mail. I refused to give her info so she told me to have him call 1-888-832-1385 Barris and****ociates and gave me a case number. The call came from 678-251-9287 which seemed fishy.
The number was quoted in a scam letter from the "Negotiations Department", which had no corporate namer and no contact person quoted. This scam is intended to get someone to call the number and be ****ed into a fiancial arrangement to pay a debt implied by the letter. This is a scam, do not ever respond to fake letters such as this, or to similar calls.
