This is a legit Costco call asking about a flagged transaction on my account. If ever in doubt, just call the number on the back of the card itself.
That my credit card for Home Depot was stolen, which it was. But proceeded to ask all kind of irrelevant questions.
Fraud depth from Citi Credit card. Left voicemail. Message asked to call number on back of my card. Thought this was legitimate as my card had been declined a few times.
It's not a spam. I called back. As I had failed to add my Citi card to my Apple Pay (due to technical reason?), they warned me today there might a fraudulent activity. Confirmed there was no fraud and helped add my card to Apple Pay.
Wanted my CID to verify that I made a purchase????

Claimed to be Citibank Fraud representative. Used Number Guru GPS coordinates, and if correct, the call emanates from the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
Scammer, Fraud
“Citi bank”
Claimed to be from Citi Bank investigating fraudulent charges. I don't have a Citi Bank account, so it's all a scam.
said she's calling about fraudulent activities on my account.
Wanted me to call back, “not a sales related call” (That was about all I could understand)
They claimed to be from Citi Bank Fraud investigation and asked for identifiable information including SSN, account #, and PIN
Credit card had been used.

This is a scam company that has figured out how to access credit report data, so whenever there is a change to your credit report, they call you and say they are the credit card company and they try to get your personal info. Never call back a cold call number, only the number on your card.
UNWANTED CALLER, 35 COMPLAINTS!
Automated saying 1st call “Crystal City Fraud Early Warning” and 2nd call “Crystal City Fraud”
caller stated that he is from CITI Bank, said some one called to say that our credit card was lost or stolen. asked for the address where the new and can be mailed. No authorized user called to report a credit card was lost. obviously a potential scam
Something about card.
Ask personal info
Thick accent and says from citi and calling about a credit card. When they give a call back number they pause as if they're looking it up and then mumble some of the numbers in the callback number. . They call everyday with the same message.

CitiBank wanted to verify my wife’s identity when she had called THEM, and they asked to verify her by calling back, after sending a code via SMS failed. The call, from the same CitiBank customer service person, came from this number, so it IS CitiBank, although it’s not impossible that others have spoofed the number.
Left a VM saying there is fraud and to call back immediately. I don’t have anything with CitiBank.
This is the Citi Fraud Early Warning Dept calling to discuss suspicous activity on a credit card.
Left a message about a Citi card fraud charge. Called the actual fraud department and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with acount.
Solicited my information
Claimed someone was in Home Depot trying to open an account and but $1000 worth of stuff. Then slowly tried to gain info...gave my wrong zip code, wanted the right one i his files....hung up at that point. I did ask what number he was calling from he gave a 1 866 number
Caller ID shoes "CITI" then they leave a message to be calling from Macy's American Express Fraud Protection. Stated the message was for an unpronounceable name etc etc. Complete sham.
Said they were with Citi bank. They are not with Citi and are scamming for information
Verified scammer.
No voice mail left.
It is a legitimate call even with the 904 area code. I called the number on the back of my card. It was asking about an Apple Pay transaction which I already knew about.
Not a spammer. I received a text & email regarding a fraudulent charge on my Office Depot card (by Citibank). When I called to confirm it was an unauthorized charge, the connection was bad, so I hung up to call again. While calling again, this # called & left a VM for me. Mentioned the O.D. card by name & said to call # on back of card to address the issue.
Called about Citibank account the day after I was in branch on business in California. Fraud for sure!
wants to verify your ss# and DOB
Answered call, no one there.
This is the customer service call regarding Costco Anywhere Visa Card.

I called the number on the back of my card and it was the fraud dept. of Citi that contacted me. They sent text messages and emails which were legit.
Deceptive call listed from Texas but Guru shows it to be from Miliilani Hawaii??
Operator spoke way to fast to understand. Only got "Citi Bank", so I called the number on my card and asked them. YUP!! Was indeed Citi Bank Fraud Department. I played that thing back 10 times and still cannot understand it. I also checked the number and saw all this about scams. But Citi said NOPE, legit call.
Got this call saying it was from Florida *I* don’t know anyone in FL so I dismissed the call
Said he was from Citi Bank Fraud Early Warning. Gave me a reference number. As if Citi is calling from a cell with a Florida area code. But how do these scammers get my name and phone number?
Claimed he was from Citi and wanted to verify activity. Wanted full card number, my name and social security number.
Told me they're office Depot fraud department and someone was trying to open an account with my info. Was phishing for personal information.
Tried to phish for information by asking about an employee transaction but did not want to provide any other number the scammer may have to prove it was my account. Total fraud attempt.
Right after using my fuel card to get gas on the OH turnpike, as I was getting back into the car, my cell rang. From this number saying they were the Sunoco ealrly warning something and wanted to speak to my husband. Since my name is not on the account they could not speak to me. It is MY cell number not the other two assoc with the account. Traveling good thing Ihad another card and cash to get gas for back home trip. Never had this crap happen previously travel the pike all the time~
This number is legitimate. After receiving a call from this # about suspicious activities on my Macy's American Express card I became suspicious so I called Macy's Customer Service (the phone # on the back of the card). Macy's Customer Service said it was NOT the phone # to their fraud department, so I asked them for the direct phone number to their fraud department. I called the number Macy's Customer Service gave me to their fraud department and the fraud department verified this number to be legitimate. This number handles Citibank, Macy's, Bloomingdale's and American Express partners. So the Macy's Customer Service person was incorrect.
Citibank fraud dept. about unauthorized charges
They called asking about credit card information from Macy's American Express. When they asked the address, I asked them what they have so I can confirm and they could not answer. So hung up, called Macy's American Express Card to sort it out.
Phone call is legit. I called the number on the back of my Macys card, and some low life had tried to make a purchase from Amazon.I canceled the card, and they are sending me a new one.
I got a call on cell phone and voicemail - it was from Citi Visa card. The message was to call customer service number on my card which I did and found out I had left my card at a merchant and it was cancelled. So this is a legitimate call, but if you get a message use the number on your Citi credit card to call back
It's citi mortgage company, loss mitigation
just got a call from this number ,answering machine came on they didnt leave a message, added them to the block calls list, thats the fix.
Phone call came in from this number saying it was a customer call from Zillow.com then hung up before connecting.
Same thing happened to me just now. The were asking credit card information from Macy's American Express... I did not supply the information they wanted and said i would do it on their site. Do not accept this call... Can anybody do anything about these calls???
These people called asking about credit card information from Macy's American Express. But when I called the Macy's American Express number listed on my statement, they said they never called, and that my account was in good standing. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS CALL OR GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THEM
