CITICARD / COLLECTION /
Received 2 calls from this number on Sunday. It was CIti Bank.
It was Citi Cards calling on behalf of AT&T Universal Card. Citi administers AT&T's credit card accounts.
If they call 12 times a day. Seven days a week they are using minimum 600 minutes of time placing many over the limit.
Pretty sure they're actually Citi. They had access to my transaction records and knew the first letter of my security question, so if they are scammers, then they have a scary amount of access to Citi's internal records. They also did close the card they called about shortly after the call. That said, it's possible that some people have received calls from scammers who are faking the Caller ID to appear to be coming from this number, so always be wary when you get calls like this.
These are scammers, call the back of your card, do not give them information.
Is also Citibank Collections....
This is actually legit. I called Citibank at their number listed online and both the 904-954-1091 number and 866-517-5348 are numbers that Citibank Fraud department uses. If you feel uncomfortable talking to them, you can always call the number listed on Citibank's website and ask for the fraud department. I recommend doing so because if they are calling you it probably means someone ELSE is using your card...Just my two cents!
Never give info outthis is a fraud, i called citi and they had no fraud warning against my account
Its CITI's fraud dept wanting to verify activity on your account.
Got a call from 904-954-1091 indicating it was from Mastercard, and requested a call back to (866) 517-5347. The whole thing looks odd. Will contact the BBB
