I am also recieving calls from this co. isn't it ilegal to claim to be an attorney if they are just a collection agency

I got a call from this number today 7/13/11 at 12:57pm on my cell phone and when I refused the call they immediately called my home phone at 1:03pm.  My caller ID shows Cambece Law. They left a message on my answering ma****e lady says if this is *my name* continue listening if this in not *my name* discount now.  She then goes on talking about how she is with an Attorney's office and trying to collect on a debt

They are constanly harrasing me at work and home.

received same call as others on this post.  I just ***g up.  The person tried calling back, but left no message.

The person(s) who make these calls are sub-contracted from the Southern Poverty Law Center. They are a non-profit group which is really just a political arm of the Democrat Party. I didnt mind this that much because I vote Democrat even though I am listed as an Independent. However, I noticed a few months after I did the survey it was cited in one of their reports about Race Relations in America. None of the questions had anything to do with Race but I guess my demographic doesnt score well on its opinions of the African-American community. This is when I realized they were complete phonies. My neighborhood is as dark as I am and I always thought we were pretty tolerant and accepting of our own folks!

swim mom I have received multiple messages from this number and I am told it is from a non attorney, but it is the office of Anthony Cambece.  I haven't answered it because I don't know who they are.  I have been waiting to receive so****ing in the mail, before I contact anyone.

WE keep getting this on our company phone and they are abusive to the answering service. We have not idea who they are.

The man named matt call me from this number saying the bank sold them my debt or whatever and her was so rude to me, and he knows my social security number, he's calling my house phone and i never gave out my house phone. And when i called the credit card company they said the sold my debt to a different company not his... how do i get rid of him??? I dont like him having my information!!!!

Left a message that it was call from Cambece Law Office and left 866 number
