Said they were Greyhound ticketing and STOLE money from debit card! Cursed at me when I called to inquire why they stole the money off my card.

These fraudulent people that is representing greyhound stole money from my bank account & gave me a bogus confirmation number they are scamming people they need to be charged with a criminal charge's because these are scammers & I am a victim of these people!

Pj Called asking for my dad who passed away two years ago. They claimed there was an IP address security problem on his computer. When I tried to explain that we got rid of his compter after he died, I was accused of making excuses...just short of being called a liar. I hung up.

Claims to be tech support calling about a compromised IP address. Became verbally abusive when I explained that they had just called an IT company and we do all of our own work in house.

mike On 6 May 2016 at approximately 1150 hrs (0850 CA time) Some man who said his name was steve martin with a thick east indian accent said he was an agent from the us treasurer and stated that I had an enforcement action against me from the us treasury and I should contact him for help. The call was left on my voice mail. I immediately used another line and spoke to a man with a thick east indian accent and I asked several questions but he refused to answer, I informed him that he was a criminal and he hung up. On 7 May 2016 at approximately 1705 hrs I made a call from another line to this number and received the following announcement: "YOU HAVE REACHED A NON WORKING NUMBER." Investigation has revealed that this is a SCAM. I have since blocked my number. It seems this number: 310-598-7829 is a land line. Recommend that anyone receive a call from this number to not answer and block, because this is a scam to steal your funds.

Do not reply or answer any phone call from this phone number. I received a voicemail from a male with an accent, claiming to be from the treasury department and threatening me with incarceration and court appearances if I didn't call him back. The return number he gave me was different from the incoming phone number. These individuals are scum-sucking dirtbags. Don't even bother talking to them. Maybe if we all ignore them, they will go away!

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK!!! It is a scam and you should report it to your local police dept. at once!! What a joke this is, His real name is Tim Martin.

Johanna Received voicemail from this number about appearing in court blah blah blah. Called the number, said I looked it up and it was reported as a spam number. The guy hung up on me. I called baking 3 times it was busy, a different woman answered the 4th time, I told her I was trying to talk to the guy who I was "disconnected" from. I told her the same thing and she said there was no use talking to me and trying to convince me thy were legitimate and then she also hung up on me.

ALICIA I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 26, 2009 ON MY CELL PHONE STATING THAT I HAD PENDING LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST ME FOR A PAY DAY LOAN. THE MAN I SPOKE WITH SAID THEY HAD SENT ME SEVERAL EMAILS TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME. WHEN I ASKED THEN WHY HADN'T THEY CALLED ME PRIOR TO THAT DAY HE TOLD ME THET WERE NOT OBLIGATED TO. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD REPORT IT TO MY HR DEPARTMENT AT MY JOB AND THEN THEY WOULD SEND THERE INVESTIGATORS TO COME AND GET ME. I SPOKE WITH A FOREIGNER WITH A STRONG ACCENT WHO WOULDN'T ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS THAT I WAS AKSING HIM ABOUT THIS SO CALLED LAWSUIT. HE THEN TOLD ME THAT I COULD SETTLE OUT OF COURT BUT I WOULD HAVE TO FAX OVER A LETTER STATING THAT I HAD NO INTENTIONS ON SKIPPING MY PAYMENTS WITH MY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD INFORMATION ON IT WITHIN 30 MINUTES AFTER THE PHONE CALL.

niki i received the first call from these people yesterday. same as what everyone says here; there's legal action pending against me, that i had to come to california for court, if not a subpeona would be sent to my job and i would lose my job. it was foreigner with a very strong accent, and he was very loud and very rude. said he was with the federal government, and wouldn't tell me what company he was representing. i will admit that i was terrified and i was trying to find a way to make a payment, thinking i would be arrested. they called me 26 times today. i was still scared, thinking i needed to do something immediately. i finally decided to google the number and found these posts. i'm so glad i did. the number that comes up on my caller id is 810-671-485 (strange number). but in a msg they left the 310 number for me to call back.

Rebecca Humbard I received a call from a man named John. Very heavily accented, couldn't really understand a word he said. He did mention that either me or my attorney need to call back as this is a time sensitive matter. Then he said if I didn't respond he wishes me good luck. Just like all these other messages here, they are just scammers and can't do anything to you.

Lori I recieved my second call from these scammers today.  I got one about 3weeks ago and the guy told me I was going to jail if I did not pay them 950bks within 30 minutes.  The first time they called and left a message to call back a different phone number.  Today I called back just for fun since I know they are all scammers and talked to John Smith yah ok.  Anyways, he told me to report to California in court...haha I told him that was about a 5 day drive for me and asked if they could come get me.  The guy was so rude and scarily creepy he said his team would pick me up.  I told him I couldn't wait that I have never been to California, then I told him I would be with the national Beaureu of Investigations to sue him in his own court for scamming so many people.  These guys are a joke, they are very mean and very creepy.  Sad part is I am sure alot of people fall for it, they almost got me the first time until I googled the number to see wtf was going on.  They need to be stopped.  Scary part they have all of my info soc sec, email, address and they took money out of my bank.  I have since closed my acct and opened a new one, if they are able to extract money from this account then I think it is more trouble than I imagined.  We shall see.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.  Call their bluff and tell them you work with the FBI or something, they will get super mad and hang up on you.....FKRS

Angie Received about 30+ calls on my cell phone over a one day period.  My message was from a very heavily accented James Davis that told me I better call back(or my retained attny) as this is a time-sensitive issue.  He said if I didn't call back then all he could do was wish me luck as this situation unfolds on me.  WTF!!  I have no idea what "this situation" even is.  Pigs will fly out of my butt before I give them a call back.  My number to return the call was 310-598-1768, but all of the comments on what was said is so similar that I'm sure it's the same company.  Please don't let yourselves be scared by these losers- it's such a shame in these hard economic times that we all have this added stress of dealing with these low-life moron clowns.

Linda HELP! I've been receiving calls from these people and made a payment due to the threat that I was going to be sued by the Federal Government.  I should have ready all these messages first but I was scared that they were coming to my work or house to arrest me.  WHAT CAN I DO NOW???

K. Watts I was so relieved to find others here who had been harrassed by these people the same way I have.  The funny thing is, I have never used a payday loan center.  It was extremely threatening. I was told I was being charged for money laundrying, fraud, etc. I was told I would lose my job. I asked to speak to someone who could talk more clearly in English and was told to stop using profanity!!!!  Next thing I know, they refused to talk any further with me and that I would receive a subpeona at my work.  I do not work there any longer, however the doctor there is a close friend and will look out for this so-called subpeona!!!  These people must be stopped!!!!

J Hansen I have gotten 4 calls from this number today.  They tell me to give them the name of my legal representative.  I called the 310 number back to find out what they are calling me for and they won't identify themselves. I asked to speak with someone who can speak English which really made him mad.  I told him I would not talk with them until I knew who was calling and what they were calling for.  He said no, you tell me your name or f*** you in the a**.  I then hung up.  I don't know who this is, but it is horrible.

AB these people called my phone about 40 times in 1 hour and left 2 vm's. I called back and spoke with someone who was obviously foreign and say that I was being sued by the federal government for bank fraud. For a payday loan I never got approved for. I told him I had no idea what this about since I never got the payday loan, and he got mad and hung up on me. I did manage to tell him that if there was this fraud the government can send me something, this can all easily be proven in court by bank records so I am sure this is a big fat SCAM

Leeann I recweived the same phone call and they said that i Must show up to court in California tomorrow b/c I was being sued by the federal gov't.  They told me to have a lawyer or else. They were very threatening!  I live in New York, and I do owe, however, instead of working with me, they are using scare tactics!

Kristen Ramos I received a call from this number both on my cell phone and at WORK. They wouldn't identify what company they were calling for. All they said was that I was being sued and would be taken to jail.

Bruce Caller was obviously a foreigner and stated I was being sued for a delinquent pay day loan.After about 5 minutes I asaked for someone who spoke English, this insulted him but I did get to speak with someone who had less of an accent.He went on to say I was being sued by the federal government for theft by deception and bank fraud. I kept asking who had filed the complaintand he said I can not tell you,it isn't in the paperwork.Then he said his "representatives" would be by my house between 7-8 AM to take me to jailfor either a 31 or 62 day incarceration and that I owed a total of $10,000.00 to satisfy this debt
