Atlanta Ray AIR QLTY ALERT 2012 - InfoCision calling on behalf of the American Lung****ociation asking you to mail 4 envelopes to neighbors / friends to solicit donations. They are not asking for money; they are asking you to ask people you know for money. Sounds like the same thing to me. Per NewHorizon on 3/11/2011, donations to the American Lung****ociation can be made directly on their web site: http://www.lungusa.org/donate/
I think the do-not-call list is a scam. Anytime you call a toll-free number your phone number is added to a list sold to telemarketers. I support the ACLJ. Did you think business lobbyists would let the do-not-call list work a***nst them? Like most government programs it is a joke.
carol thomas yes, and I would like them to stop ...they continually wake my baby...STOP CALLING I will not vote for Romney anyway!!

BoBo Have used the link above to remove my number from SFI lists. Hope it works. Thanks for the help.
CINDY I just returned a call from that number and the gentleman told me that it was for Anna Sullivan. Not only have I had this number for over 3 yrs., I am not Anna Sullivan. They told me they would remove the number, we will see. From past experiences with people having had this number in the past, I will probably recieve calls from different phone numbers from the same company for years to come.
me who
Louis Same as everyone else, receiving 3 calls a day beginning at 9 a.m. 7 days/week. I finally picked up the phone this morning (Sunday!) and requested our number be taken off their call list. The woman was very polite and said it could take up to 48 hrs to take effect. She was also surprised that we were receiving so many calls every day. Well, if you have a call center with a lot of folks calling the same numbers...... So far, whenever I've asked to be taken off a call list, it's worked.
Get numerous calls a day. IC System on caller ID. We don't have any outstanding debts so don't know why they would call....just had 2 calls a***n this morning....very annoying because no one is ever there!! When I use mapping to locate where call comes from it is the Washington, DC area. This site shows it comes from Cairo, Egypt!!
just me I just got a phone call from them the other night.. It was the Washington Post
Screened the call (thank you caller ID) so didn't actually answer to talk to anyone. Message said I'd won a cruise in the drawing I'd entered--but I'd never entered one. Want's me to call back, NO WAY. My number is unlisted and I've only had it a few months, so not sure how they got ahold of it.
I received this call also. It is apparently from the American Ins***ute of Cancer Research. I continue to be surprised at how uninformed many people are about unsolicited phone calls. There is information all over about this subject. I am somewhat familiar from previous experience. If you are registered on the "Do Not Call" list you may still get these types of calls from time to time. Charities and certain nonprofit researchers with surveys and political groups are exempt by the law. That said, you may still ask them to take you off their call list, (but you have to tell them!) and they should comply. It can take several weeks to do this, and they are allowed that time by law. My suggestion would be to call the number back and ask to be removed. I just called the number and took the otpion for more info when prompted. If you coninue to listen you will receive the option to not receive further calls. Enter your phone number and it will be read back to you for confirmation. Your other option is for them to continue to call you repeatedly. If possible simply screen it through your caller ID or let it go to an answering deivce or voice mail. I prefer to ask them to not call, it is much simpler, and will save you grief in the long run.
A Foster - Why are you getting calls from the RNC. Do you vote Republican or donate to the RNC? Or do you just troll websites spreading the Dems communist message?
This unknown number calls my house at least 5 times a day, and they never leave a message.
