Ted Frank, Washington, DC I was called June 6 at 1:12 PM Eastern, though I am on the Do-Not-Call list. The caller ID said "HELP CENTER." The human on the line claims to be with "Loan Modification Services", 535 GRISWOLD ST Detroit, Michigan (this is the address of a maildrop, however). They violate the TCPA by using an autodialer and robo-caller. I hope someone sues them, and am happy to act as class representative if a class action is brought.

the coopers I have received so many calls I cant count anymore. I answer and ***ody is there. I call the # back and it tells me that I can push 1 and they will not call a***n. Nope that doesnt work. I called the phone company and they cant block it either. Help

This is a scam. They want you to provide them with all your credit card numbers so that they can lower your interest rates. Only they want you to tell them your card numbers. The bait is the fact they tell you that you qualify for a lower your interest rate due to your recent payment history. Then they want all the card numbers or no interest rate reduction. When you ask which account qualifys for a interest rate reduction. They reply all of them. Then when you ask them to be specific as to what one qualified. they **** up.

stevenw Called at 12:56 pm on 3/17/11.  Left a message on my answering ma****e: "account services and we're calling in reference to your current credit accounts.   There's no problem currently with your accounts.  It is noted, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%.  Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice.  Please press 'one' now on your phone to speak to a live operator and lower your interest rate.  Or press 'two' to discontinue further notices.  Thank you and have a great day."Called at 12:56 pm on 3/17/11.  Caller ID showed "no name received."   A recorded, female voice left a message on my answering ma****e: "Account services and we're calling in reference to your current credit accounts.   There's no problem currently with your accounts.  It is noted, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%.  Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice.  Please press 'one' now on your phone to speak to a live operator and lower your interest rate.  Or press 'two' to discontinue further notices.  Thank you and have a great day."The recording s****ed at "account services" in a clear attempt to give the impression the answering ma****e didn't record the beginning  of the call.   Also, the oddly constructed phrase  "It is noted, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility..."   is an obvious attempt to give the listener the impression the caller is saying "...that you contacted us"  in an attempt to  give the false impression the listener somehow gave the caller permission to call.  I had to listen to the recording several times to recognize the caller was saying "contact" and not "contacted."   The area code and prefix--406-219--comes back to Bozemen, Montana.   They are clearly using deceptive practices including blocking a valid caller ID.   This is clearly a scam of some sort.   I'm on the federal and state DNC lists (I'm sure they could care less...) and will file a complaint with the FTC.

B. in Lawrence, NJ Annoying pre-recorded Call from this #, where in addition to number, caller ID displayed "RESET".Nonesense about lowering interest rates on credit cards. Pressed 9 to talk to someone, ringing like it was in another country, no one answered. All of our numbers are on the do not call list.Feb.24, 2011
