Jargon The problem is that the kind of people that use, or are referred to debt consolidation and credit service firms are usually the untrustworthy type who would use a fake phone number. In addition to the phone companies being forced to "recycle" old and out of service numbers for overall lack of availability, it is possible that your number has been given to this firm illegitimately by the individual using it. Given the serious nature of the collection industry, it is expected that they will be a bit rude and tough; Afterall, how else can they educate deadbeats to pay their bills? They are just doing their jobs, so the blame cannot be squarely placed on them alone. I myself just got a new phone, and before it was even activated, I already had three messages on my voicemail from a credit collections firm that I had no dealings with. I guess the m**** is teach your kids to teach their kids to pay their bills so my grandkids don't have to sleep on their floor because some poorly informed repo guy broke into the wrong house to repo the bed.

I've beengetting calls from these people as many as 6 times a day. I have no outstanding debt so whom everthey are looking for its not me. It's a recording that continues to fill up my answering ma****e. I've gone to thier website for contact info no such luck. I wish they would just dry up and go away. Nothing like taking a chemo treatment and having the phone wake you up a half dozen times with their lovely nonsence!

Got a call from the number 905 413-8538 The call was generated by a ma****e asking to call another number and so on.....When I called the number got to another ma****e and so on....

Got the call .......no message....called back it went straight to a recording.  About this call may be recorded for quality control purposes.......then rang.  Person answered with a simple good afternoon.  No company name or anything.Thus I have nothing good bad or **** to say.

You can't expect me to pay for so****ing from 5 years ago!!!  I tried talking to them but they didn't seem to get it.  I googled their company name "Global Credit" and found their website. I sent a request to stop bugging me.  A manager called me back a couple dayslater and told me they were closing my account.  The website is http://www.globalcollection.net

I received several calls from these guys..When I called back to find out what these guys wanted,I was told that I had an old credit card bill that I never paid. When I looked into it, it turns out that they were right (oops!).  I was able to settle my account for half the amount owing.

Kirk Very rude persons that have been calling for someone. Keeps insisting that the peron needs to call the Natalie Law Office...probably debt collectors or prank callers. Best advise-Don't answer. They are not listed as Natalie Law Office

I've recently rented a suite that came with a new phone line. Since arriving, this phone # calls at least once a day. Today I picked up and held down the zero key on my keypad. I could hear two guys in the background laughing and saying "she must be ****ed off". Then they disconnected the call, and called back three more times where the same thing occurred.I've now registered with the Do Not Call registry: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/cofi-fico-eng.Hopefully that makes these ****s leave me alone. They don't want me, they want the last owner of the phone # I've sadly been****igned.
